About Us
Valley Christian Church is an action-oriented bilingual community dedicated to loving God and loving others!
Though our church has been in existence since 1970, the story of our renewed mission begins in the year 2020.
The year 2020 was like none we had ever seen. The suffering and conflict lit a fire in our hearts, and we couldn’t let another day go by without doing something to help bring relief and spread hope.
So Actions Speak Louder was born, and our Action Team began to grow. We banded together to serve and make a difference in our community however we could.
From the very beginning, God connected us with as many service opportunities as we could handle, and so began an exhilarating new chapter in our church’s 50-year history.

Since then, this mission has expanded to include three key purposes, our ABCs:
Actions Speak Louder
Performing acts of service in the name of Jesus to show love and shine light
Bilingual ministry
Embracing our Spanish-speaking neighbors and inviting them into the VCC family
Community
Cultivating community among the family of God in the unity of the Spirit
Today, we continue to perform acts of service in the name of Jesus to show love and shine light.
We continue to network with neighbors–both Spanish-speaking and English-speaking–and leverage social media to seek out unmet needs. And as God leads, we gather a team and serve in the name of Jesus.
We serve because actions speak louder than words, and we’ve found that showing love through action creates opportunities to share our message with words!
As we stay true to this mission, we envision becoming the “city on a hill” that cannot be hidden. Through our bold and faithful service, we envision people being drawn to the same divine love and grace that has transformed our lives.
We are dedicated to this mission because God is worthy of all of our worship and devotion! Our mission both brings God glory and brings us joy and peace.
In everything, we seek to trust the Holy Spirit's guidance. Though grasping for control is tempting at times, we are committed to waiting patiently on the work God chooses to do through us, when He chooses to do it.
In a world where hope seems rare and fleeting, we are thrilled to step out into our community with an authentic, life-changing message of hope.
And that's why Valley Christian Church is a place Where Love Is Action! (John 15:12)
